Stay at Wildlings
Looking for a quiet forest stay with a little extra meaning? Our on-site guest suite offers a chance to unwind on sanctuary grounds while directly supporting the rescued animals who call Wildlings home.
Tucked just outside Portland and minutes from Sauvie Island, the Wildlings guest space is a peaceful retreat designed for rest, reflection, and a slower pace. Whether you’re soaking in the hot tub after a day of exploring, sipping coffee beneath the trees, or simply enjoying a calm place to land, your stay helps fund the daily care, food, and medical needs of sanctuary residents.
Wildlings is first and foremost an animal sanctuary, and our Airbnb is one of the ways we help sustain that work. Every booking directly supports the animals.
❋ The SpaceOur guest space is a private 2-bedroom, 1-bath suite tucked into the daylight basement of our home on sanctuary property. It’s designed to feel cozy, quiet, and easy to settle into, with a comfortable living room, sectional sofa, TV, fireplace, and a small indoor dining area.
The suite also includes a simple kitchenette setup with a mini fridge, hot plate, toaster, microwave, and a water station with hot and cold filtered water. Outside, guests have their own private patio with a table, chairs, grill, and a saltwater hot tub—a peaceful spot to relax after a day in the city, on Sauvie Island, or simply enjoying a slower pace at Wildlings.
❋ Why your stay mattersAt Wildlings, sanctuary care is made possible through a patchwork of donations, volunteer labor, fundraising, and creative sources of support. Hosting guests on site is one of the ways we help bridge the gap between what animal care costs and what small sanctuaries can realistically sustain.
When you stay at Wildlings, your booking helps support:
food and hay for sanctuary residents
veterinary care and medications
habitat maintenance and repairs
rescue infrastructure and daily care needs
It’s a stay with purpose—one that helps keep this little forest sanctuary going.
❋ Good to knowBecause the suite is located on sanctuary property and connected to our home, you may occasionally hear normal household or sanctuary sounds, including animals, children, or day-to-day activity nearby. As with any wooded sanctuary property, bugs, muddy conditions during the wetter months, and other seasonal outdoor elements are simply part of life here.
❋ Book your stayIf you’re looking for a stay that feels peaceful, personal, and rooted in something meaningful, we’d love to host you.
